The staff were flexible and helpful. We had been assigned a room on the ground floor, and asked if we could have one on the floor above (it's two stories, so top floor). Yes, no problem, no fuss. Visited golf course to check it out, and in talking to the pro, asked if I could possibly hit a bucket of balls even though not playing the course (no time for a full round - though would have loved to, it's beautiful.) Again, the answer was yes, no fuss. Oh, and could I borrow a few clubs? - they lent me a full set, brand-new. The evening meal and breakfast were up to the highest standards. The place is clean and modern and the atmosphere pretty light - or whatever is the opposite of stuffy. (Ireland's defeat of England at rugby that afternoon may have contributed to the happy vibe.) We left with nothing but good impressions.
As an owner of an electric vehicle a charge point would be a very vital addition to the hotel.
Perfect for a couples getaway. We cycled ,walked and dined in beautiful surroundings. A welcome break from the norm.
We had an excellent evening with you. Food quality in the sundial bar was excellent. Excellent value for money. Emma the bar manager was very helpful, very attentive to our group and efficient to deal. Breakfast next morning was also great. One area you might consider reviewing your policy on cocktails, some of our group prefer to drink cocktails all night not just after dinner. A dedicated mixologist/and all day cocktail menu would enhance your offering. We had a group of thirteen and everyone had a great time... so thank you all! Colm
Lovely stay it was only an over night stop off for us both going in different directions the next morning very early. But it is a lovely spot we will come back again room was beautiful and loved that there was a balcony.
